Stillwater Board Votes on Field Use and Teacher Probation
The Stillwater Central School Board met Friday night at the high school. Spencer Kellogg of Bewls Heights Grange sought permission to use the school athletic field in late May for a Grange carnival. William Sheehan, a senior at State Teachers College Albany, was placed on a three year probationary period to oversee educational and social subjects starting September. The board adopted a motion to release Protestant children on Wednesday mornings for Lenten services. Payroll for March was audited and ordered paid. A large delegation from Upton Chapter OFS attended the visitation.
