Party Favors Early Talks On Election Campaign
Richard A. Severson, chairman of the People's Party and lone trustee on the Village Board, says the party will bring campaign issues into the open early to give the ruling party a chance to defend. A prime issue is the Boston and Maine Railroad and the need to address long-standing concerns. The piece also notes a February 11, 1965 report about acquiring a railroad right of way and references village meetings, plus a note on Little League registration extensions due to bad weather and the extended dates for signups.
