New Library Moves to Clifton Park Country Mall
The Shenendehowa Free Library plans a mid year move from a 200 year old Cemetery Road school to the Clifton Park Country Mall on Route 146. Trustees voted unanimously to relocate to gain space and possible cost sharing from the mall, amid prior funding disputes with Clifton Park and Halfmoon. The library seeks 4000 square feet, doubles current space, and hopes to attract mall traffic.

Fewer Students Mean No Savings In School Costs
Report outlines how a drop of about 100 elementary students in Burnt-Hills-Ballston Lake affects budgets. Despite $1,706 cost per pupil, fixed building and utility expenses limit savings, with eight fewer teachers over three years and uneven enrollment shifts.
