Ballston Lake Man Sentenced in Hit-Run Case
Dominick Vala tra Valastro of Ballston Lake received sixty days in Schenectady County Jail and fines totaling 150 dollars after pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license. The hit-and-run injured a Glenville child, 3 weeks ago, who suffered a fractured skull and collar bone. Authorities credited state police Corporal Harold Myera and deputies Jerome Zink Adolph Gehring and Howard Armstrong for the capture. Valastro, with no prior record, said he considered surrendering after reading newspaper reports of the crash.
