No Dates Set Yet For Civil Service Tests In County
White county employees occupy civil service positions and have not yet faced examinations. No formal tests will be scheduled before next September. Three tests were recently conducted for County Health Department posts by the local commission, two not open to the public. Final standings are not expected soon as papers from the Late Civil Service Commission are saved. The Supreme Court librarian post remains untested despite provisional filling. Applications for tests were made to the state commission two months ago. Several workers in the County Clerk’s office and in the motor vehicle bureau may eventually need civil service denominations as their current roles are state covered.
