Ruth Dryfoos, 34, of New Haven, fired two blasts from a 12 gauge shotgun into a Southern Connecticut State College classroom as Professor Robert Dryfoos lectured. A student, Robert Evers, 20, was lightly hurt. the professor was wounded in the leg. Authorities charged Dryfoos with assault with intent to kill and set bond at 5000 dollars. The incident, during an anthropology lecture, appeared to stem from domestic problems.
