Peter Reilly Funeral Rites Held
Funeral services for Peter D. Reilly owner of a confectionery at 81 Hoosick St were held Saturday at St Peter's Church. Rev Peter A Horny of St Patrick's Church celebrated a High Mass with Agnes K Dundon at organ and John B Dunn as soloist. Interment was at St Peter's Cemetery with Father Stephen T. O'Connor officiating the grave. A visiting prayers night was held Friday.

Saratoga Youth Killed In Crash Involving Mahar and Ortun
Saratoga Springs youths William J. Mahar, 19, of 4 Waterbury St, and Orton J., 18, of 131 Jester, were involved in a fatal crash on Route 1 near Saratoga Springs. Mahar died from multiple injuries after his car struck a lee on the embankment, while Ortun was hospitalized in serious condition with concussion. Coroner and troopers investigated, with funeral plans pending for Mahar.
