Nassau woman’s school bus case adjourned for a week
Hazel Rakowski of Nassau faced a week adjournment in Rensselaer County Family Court over her three children ages 7 8 and 10 who have not attended East Greenbush schools since Oct 15. The district refuses to send a bus down the unsafe Sherwood Acres Road. The judge said she must hire an attorney as public defense is unavailable due to income. Sunshine School Dedication in Albany at Lincoln Park
Dedication ceremonies for the Sunshine School in Albany will be held at 7 30 p m at the school in Lincoln Park. Albany Mayor Erastus Corning II and Albany school board vice president Regina Chicorelli will speak. The school was renovated at a cost of 325000 to serve educatable special education students. The building originally housed James Hall a paleontologist who worked there from 1852 when built until 1885.

Four Colonie women arraigned in prostitution case
