Officials Discuss Housing Project Amid City State Talks
Prancie X. Boue of the late Department of Public Works met Mayor Bob J. Ahern to discuss the Iloook Bireel housing project. Gov. Thomas Dewey announced a portion of the Hoosier Street project abandoned by the PPHA would be assumed by the state, with $150,000 to be spent.
