Msgr Nowak Dies in Amsterdam Hospital
Msgr Peter Nowak died after a brief illness at Mansi Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Poland, he served as pastor of the Church of All Saints in Granville and was 78. He studied in Belgium and Belgium. He became monsignor in 1955 and had been pastor in Granville from 1909 to 1910? He had been hospitalized for ten days after an operation.

Rumbaugh Named Manager of Submarine Reactor Project
Ernest C. Rumbaugh of Sea Wa has been appointed manager of the SAR Submarine Advanced Reactor Project at Knotts Atomic Power Laboratory. General Manager B J Caldwell announced the move, with Rumbaugh succeeding John D Selby who will develop an improved nuclear propulsion plant. SAR works on long life reactor cores for the Navy’s atomic submarines. SAR was established to design twin reactors.

Navy Triton Submarine Commissioned and Nuclear Plant Operation
The Navy’s mighty nuclear submarine Triton was commissioned last November 10. The Salt Project 18 oversees the prototype submarine nuclear power plant at KAPL’s West Milton test site and handles procurement of the second fuel loading for the Triton.
