Community events and school meetings in Hoosick Falls
Davison and Joseph P. Vink led a Monday meeting of the Hoosick Falls Eagles to plan a Ladies Night with round square dancing by Earl Darfler’s orchestra. A benefit dance for the Hovakton twins was set for tonight in Legion rooms, hosted by Hoosick Post and local orders. Basketball schedules, district and parish activities filled the week with games, meetings, and a school bond vote debate on February 23. A separate note covers a library anecdote about a man bothering a woman with talk of death while she suggests buying chewing cloves.
