Bergdoll Released From Fort Leavenworth Bar Racks
War I (Arthur) Bergdoll was freed yesterday after a three and a half year term from a Fort Leavenworth military court sentence. A fellow prisoner said Bergdoll was met at the gate by his wife in a taxicab with the couple’s youngest child. The trio left by cab, likely for Kansas City where Mrs. Bergdoll stayed overnight.
