Mothers To Be Classes Start In January

Expectant mothers are invited to a new series of Wednesday afternoon classes starting January 3 at 1 30 p m in the Visiting Nurse Association rooms at 161st Street. Mrs George J Janz will lead the free eight week sessions covering labor and delivery prenatal care nutrition and newborn care Films will be shown and a hospital maternity department visit is planned An evening class for expectant fathers will also be offered one Wednesday per series.

GRAND RAPIDS Mich AP from Tucson Ariz came a check for 11 03 the gift from a Sunday School class A child sent five dollars and a note about giving up Christmas presents to support the troops in Vietnam The LBJ praised the project Gen Westmoreland commended it and the effort grew from a Pentagon protest response The campaign began in Holland Michigan and expanded to Elkhart Ind and other cities through marathon broadcasts by the Christian Reformed Church Laymen's League with donors and volunteers providing funds and time.
