Finkle in Rensselaer County Jail Awaiting Psychiatric Exam
Calvin H. Finkle, 27, of 531 South Street, Rensselaer, is in the Rensselaer County Jail awaiting a psychiatric examination by order of Judge La Verne G. Lewis. He was arrested by Rensselaer police Friday night on a complaint by his father Peter, who says his son broke furniture. A charge of reckless endangerment has been lodged against Finkle under the State Penal Law.

Howard Carter, 42, of 1018 Fourth St has facial lacerations after his car was allegedly forced into a bridge abutment on Third Avenue near Dunn Memorial Bridge. Patrolman Thomas Owens took him to Albany Medical Center Hospital for treatment. Carter said an unknown car caused the crash. the other vehicle was damaged and towed.
