Stalin Birth Anniversary Passes Unnoticed in USSR
The 88th anniversary of Joseph V. Stalin's birth went largely unremarked in Moscow. His grave near the Kremlin wall remained unmarked despite occasional discreet flower offerings. In a separate note, Ascuncion, Paraguay’s capital, was founded in 1537 by Juan de Salazar.
