Conyers Assigned Counsel Preliminary Hearing Set
James Conyers Jr. 19 appeared in Troy Police Court before Justice Timothy J. Fogarty and was assigned Seymour Fox as his counsel. He is charged with murder in the Saturday night shotgun slaying of Shewan J. Rezey 46 a Lebanese grocer on Federal Street in Troy. Rezey operated his uncle’s grocery and his uncle died earlier this year.
