Grand Jury Considers Welfare Case In Rensselaer County
The Rensselaer County grand jury met at the Court House to review welfare fraud and related charges. Harold E Wolfman of Buskirk faces first degree grand larceny and a shooting case connected to a November incident involving Roeland W O Meara. Witnesses reported welfare claims totaling about 3 400 and 4 459 40 in aid. The panel planned to issue findings next week as cases including a July 27 shooting and a nylon stocking seizure were discussed.
