Mechanicville and Stillwater Farmers Lose Inheritance Tax Fight
Mechanicville and Stillwater farmers express frustration after Gov. Hugh Carey vetoes a bill to aid farm families with estate taxes. Mrs. Keyishian and others warn the veto will cost farmers in Hemstreet Park and may lead to sales to developers.
