Pre school clinic offered in Saratoga County this weekend

The New Family Project will hold a comprehensive screening at Starbuck Center on Skidmore Campus in Saratoga Springs today and Saturday. It offers health, vision, hearing, dental, speech and development assessments for children up to six, with a toddler program for 18 to 36 months.

Fire units share funds from Rotary canoe races derby

Mechanicville fire departments and the out of town ambulance services will split a 1 052 dollar pie from the Rotary Club sponsored Canoe Races and Tenandeho Water Derby held April 3 and 4. The John Ahearn Rescue Squad will get 300 dollars from gate proceeds at the finish line run by the Kiwanis Club. The rotary executive committee will allocate the total to various departments and services. The club reported 2 198 dollars from entry fees 200 dollars in grants from city and county bicentennial commission and 315 81 dollars from the snack bar. Operating expenses were 1 327 51 and awards cost 333 63. A report on snack bar receipts will be given later.

Halfmoon Lassie League Registration Saturday
