Plans for a countywide institute to be held by the Rensselaer County Women’s Carilian Temper am Union during May will be decided at a meeting of the members. Next year’s county officers will be discussed by board members at 30 Sixth Avenue, Lansingburg.
The 11th session of the Troy Annual Conference of the Methodist Church will meet in Albany from Wednesday to Sunday. Bishop G Bromley Oxnam will preside with main meetings at Trinity Methodist and Sunday worship at Palace Theater. The conference includes memorial service, officer elections, district reports, and ministerial training board sessions with candidates for admission on trial and study progress.
The church conference will feature a series of mass meetings and sermons led by Dr. William Lloyd Imes and Bishop J Waskom Pickett. Banquets and luncheons are planned across Trinity, Calvary, First, and Newtonville churches with addresses by Rev. Alfred J. Higgins and Bishop Alexander P. Shaw.

Martin will join the Chamber of Commerce Committee and Burch the supervision, examination and audit committee.
