Village Chief Seeks Parking Lot Light Amid Vandalism

The board twice denied the request, citing private property concerns and calls for other business lighting. The mayor supports the project, estimated under $100 annually, while owner Clarke Thorpe says village rental income covers little for improvements and suggests selling the lot.
