A trailer on Oakhill Road in Poestenkill was destroyed by a Sunday afternoon fire at about 1 15 p m. No injuries were reported. Owner Brian J Raymond was away. The blaze began in the back of the trailer and deputies believe a faulty heater caused it. The Poestenkill Fire Department responded.
A used 20-inch orange bike with banana seat and double handlebars valued at 25 dollars was taken Thursday from the Rensselaer Repair Shop on 32 Academy Street. No arrests reported.
In Nassau two 16 year old passengers were treated and released after a car driven by Lawrence M. Sawyer of 20 John St. ran off Route 203, traveled 211 feet through St. Marys Cemetery striking gateposts, a tree, stones, and a corner stone. Sawyer was ticketed for excessive speed and failing to keep right. Christopher Hagen, address unavailable, was treated at St. Peters Hospital. Sawyer treated at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Edward Hawkins 24 of Fort Erie Ontario died after an argument with Anthony Ashley 20 of Buffalo following a proposition turned gender reveal. Ashley, wearing a dress at arraignment, is jailed without bail on murder and weapons charges. The second prostitute faced no charge.

A dog was struck Thursday by a 1969 auto driven by George W. Williams of 1053 Broadway near 505 Broadway. The dog, owned by Robert Lawson of 530 Broadway, sustained injuries. no vehicle damage was reported.
