World War II Veteran W C Kane Dies in Watervliet
W C Kane 57 of 22 stricken while at work in Watervliet died yesterday. A produce dealer and veteran of the 79th Infantry in the European Theater he held the Bronze Star Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster. Survived by two sisters and a stepdaughter, funeral Monday from Parker Brothers Memorial and St Patrick's Church with interment in St Patrick's Cemetery.
