Mechanicville man charged after weekend incident

Mechanicville police charged Frank Micklas with assault second degree after a dispute with Joseph Branski. Branski reported being followed and Branski allegedly broke Micklas car windshield and threatened to injure him. Branski was jailed on $2,500 bail and released on mortgage bond. Micklas was treated and released at Samaritan Hospital.

Daffodil Day Success in Saratoga County

County Chairman Mrs. John Hogan announced Daffodil Day funded the American Cancer Society programs. Fifty five thousand flowers were distributed March 24 27 across fifteen Saratoga County townships including Ballston Clifton Park Halfmoon Malta Mechanicville Stillwater and Wilton with large local volunteer deliveries.
