The veteran remains active, making daily downtown trips, and received baskets of fruit from the Womens Relief Corps and American Legion Auxiliary along with flowers and greetings.

The couple hosted a two course dinner for about 80 guests at the bride's home with green and yellow decorations centered by a wedding cake.
Roughage mill demonstration planned by Tripoli Implement Co
The Tripoli Implement Co will hold a demonstration of the McCormick Deering Hammer and Roughage mills at their store on Saturday November 10. The event will occur indoors if weather is bad and will showcase mills that grind grain fodder and forage to meet farm feed needs. Farmers in the community are invited to attend.
