Denver Youth Draws 30 Days In Cooler For Reckless Driving
Erwin A. Lubkeman a 19 year old Denver resident received 30 days on free board in Bremer county jail for reckless driving. His license is revoked 60 days after fleeing to Cedar Rapids and failing to appear in court. Previously he had five traffic violations since 1952.

Mary Annetta Bass, a former Tripoli resident, died Sunday morning of a heart attack at her home 834 W 4th St Waterloo. Born January 12, 1894 in Tripoli, she was the daughter of Henry Juergens and married Lloyd Bass on March 19, 1919. Survived by three sons Bert, Clifford, and Kenneth, one brother John, and a half sister Mrs Alfred Neuendorf of Dumont.
