The Bremer County Board of Supervisors on May 3 1965 approved a resolution concurring in the Iowa State Highway Commission award for Farm to Market Project No SN 995 in Bremer County. Burton Construction Co. of Cedar Falls Iowa was awarded a 38 443 07 contract for a 125 by 28 foot three span continuous concrete slab bridge. The board also appointed Joan Joyed as clerk at 22500 per month starting May 1 1965 and Richard Schwake as Deputy Weed Commissioner at 125 per hour plus mileage.
Probate No 6022 lists the estate of Fred H Brunscheen. The 20th day of May 1965 marks the appointment of the undersigned as executor after the January 27, 1964 probate admission in the Tripoli Iowa court.
The Senate unanimously voted to appropriate 500000 dollars to create a state funded scholarship fund for Iowa colleges. The Higher Education Facilities Commission will administer the program.
The House approved a measure to appropriate 20.1 million dollars for the state department of social welfare. The funds would support six public assistance programs and their operations.
