Funeral Held May 9 for Louis A Panzer Blind Harness Maker
Funeral services were held in Bridgeport Connecticut on May 9 for Louis A Panzer 72 a former Tripoli resident who for 35 years supervised harness manufacture for Ringling Brothers Barnum Bailey circus He died May 6 at his home in Bridgeport He was known as the blind harness maker who worked from 1922 to 1938 without sight His death followed a sudden loss of vision caused by an injury in youth He is survived by his wife Theresa Lombard Panzer two daughters a grandson and a sister

Last Rites Saturday For Mrs Carolyn Wolf Artesian
Funeral services for Mrs Carolyn Wolf 89 were held Saturday at Kaiser Funeral Home Waverly and St Pauls Lutheran Artesian following her death the prior Wednesday at her Waverly home. Born January 5 1866 in Germany she was daughter of Carl and Sophie Spier. She married Fred Wolf April 15 1888 and they farmed in Warren Township before moving to Waverly in 1922. He died November 15 1930. Survived by son Herman Charles City five daughters Bertha Michael Hilda Clausing Alma Roettjer and Emma all of Waverly Ella Strottmann Readlyn 19 grandchildren 35 great grandchildren a brother Carl Spier and sister Louisa Koller in Germany.

Readlyn man Roy Thurm dies at 41
Roy Thurm of Readlyn died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his home from a cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral services are pending. He leaves his wife, four daughters Lois Ruth Jean Doris, two sons Lavern and Roger, his parents Mr and Mrs John Thurm, a brother Erwin Sumner and a sister Esther Paul Wolfgram Waterloo. He was preceded in death by son Delbert killed in an auto accident last August.

Denver marks its centennial with two days of events sponsored by the Commercial club.
