Tripoli travels to Waverly to begin Cedar Valley league play after two early wins over Greene and Clarksville. The league features six teams and a 10 game schedule running May 22 through July 31 with home and away matches. In the Clarksville game, Tripoli came from behind 2-0 to win 3-2 on a seventh inning run set up by Sauerbrei and Beisner. Poock pitched four hits and five strikeouts for the Red Sox while DeGroote allowed seven. the Red Sox had nine hits and played errorless defense.
