Lt Col Heyer Joins Iowa ROTC Faculty At University
Lt Col H B Heyer son of Mrs W A Heyer and the late W A Heyer has reported as assistant professor of military science and tactics for the ROTC unit at the State University of Iowa. A Coe College graduate, he previously held the same ROTC post at UCLA. He led a unit of the Iowa National Guard at Cedar Falls before moving to Iowa City and has two years of service in China Formosa and Japan. He served as battalion commander with the 1st Cavalry in Korea at the start of the Korean War.
