The Parks and Recreation committee proposes transforming Tripoli South Park into a recreation hub with a tennis court and a 40 by 60 shelter for the Wapsie Sports Club fish fry and public use. It calls for moving the softball field, lighting baseball diamonds, and possibly adding a future swimming pool while preserving North Park skating and horseshoe pits and converting Chapin Park into an overnight camping area.

After services the body went to Woodstock Minnesota for burial at 10 30 a m Tuesday.
