A church wedding at St. Peter Evangelical in Tripoli on February 28 united Miss Esther Struck and Art Redies in a double ring ceremony. Rev. Koehler officiated as Clarence Kimball played the wedding march and Mrs. Koehler sang. The bride wore white silk with a cap veil and red rose bouquet. her attendant was Miss Elda Redies in pink silk with pink and white carnations. Bankers Released On Appearance Bonds In Tripoli Bank Case
In Waverly F H Martin John H Mueller and A G Kampmeier recently indicted by the Bremer county grand jury on conspiracy charges tied to the closed Tripoli State bank were taken into custody by Sheriff Frank Sager last Thursday afternoon. They appeared voluntarily, were fingerprinted and released on $5 000 appearance bonds set by Judge M F Edwards. Proceedings aim to bring them to trial at the March district term starting March 21 in Waverly. Arden L Young is attorney for the defendants.
