Babson on Selecting Sound Investments and Management
Babson argues that future investment success hinges on management character rather than past earnings figures. He cites personal experience with Harriman, warns of reliance on analysts, and promotes direct, confidential insight from plant visits, executives, and neighbors. The piece urges long-term focus on ethics, home life, and community ties to gauge leadership quality.
