The annual Heideman reunion was held Sunday, June 1, at Janesville with about 30 families present. A picnic dinner was served at noon. Rites Held Tuesday At Waterloo for Ralph Hinrichs
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 pm in Waterloo for Ralph Herman Hinrichs 37 with Rev. D W Schladenhausen officiating. Military rites by Becker-Chapman post 138 American Legion followed by burial in Midwest Garden of Memories. He died Friday at St Francis hospital of a cerebral thrombosis after a short illness. Born in Tripoli December 3 1914 he moved to Waterloo in 1933 and worked 18 years as a Rath Packing Co plumber. He married Bernice Brandt June 6 1940 at Pierce Nebraska. Surviving: wife parents Fred and Sophia Hinrichs Waterloo two brothers Elmer Rosemead Cal Floyd Waterloo two sisters Mrs James McNamee and Mrs Esther Melendy Waterloo. A World War I veteran he served in the European theater with the field artillery and was a Local 46 CIO United Packinghouse Workers member.
