Man Dies of Spinal Meningitis After Accidental Injury
C E Kennedy, 54, died at Mercy hospital last Tuesday from spinal meningitis, the direct cause after injuries when teammates dragged him during a game. Survived by wife and five daughters. Funeral services were held at Koch funeral home Friday, with final rites in Rhodes, Iowa, where the family moved from about five years ago.
