Mrs R Brandenburg Dies at Waverly After Illness
Mrs. Richard Brandenburg, 84, of Waverly, died Friday from a cerebral hemorrhage after five years of declining health. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Pauls Lutheran, Waverly. Born Nov 20, 1867 near Tripoli, she lived in Bremer County most of her life, married Richard Brandenburg on Dec 25, 1889, and survived by three sons Ed Gilbert and Arnold, a brother Carl Fritz, and three grandchildren Harold Hastings Richard and John Brandenburg.

Mrs Erwin Huebner Former Tripoli Resident Dies
Mrs. Erwin Huebner 51 of Waterloo died Thursday noon of carcinoma at Allen Memorial hospital. Services were held Saturday at First Lutheran Church Waterloo with Rev S M Becker officiating. Burial followed in Midwest Garden of Memorial Cemetery. She was known in Tripoli as Marion Winzenburg and was previously married to Herman Beisner who died soon after their marriage. They lived on a farm southwest of Tripoli now operated by his brother Walter Beisner and family.
