About 100 patrons attended the Tripoli Co operative Creamery annual meeting at the Town Hall. Three directors were elected with H. W. Meswarth reelected, Loren Bergmann and Lloyd Mueller newly elected. Wm. Mueller remained president and Mervyn Ormston became secretary. Frank Barker spoke on dairy promotion and receipts for the year totaled 147 178.34 with 187 216.7 pounds of butterfat sold at 67.08 cents average. Expenses were 20 551.09 and a new charm cost 1 590. Funeral today for Carl Behrend lifetime Tripoli resident
Funeral services were held for Carl Behrend 70 a lifelong Tripoli resident who died Sunday morning of a heart condition at his farm home four miles west of town. The Rev E F Puhlmann led the service at Rettig Funeral Home and St Peters Evangelical and Reformed Church with burial in the church cemetery. He was born November 21 1885 and married Amanda Dettmer December 10 1910. He had been in declining health for ten years and is survived by his wife.
