Death notices for Bertha Dravis in local obituary
Bertha Dravis, 78, died in January at Mercy Hospital. Funeral Monday was held at United Church of Christ with interment in the cemetery. She was born July 9, 1892, to William and Wilhelmina Buchholz and resided in Waverly. She is survived by one son Harold of Waverly, one brother from Tripoli, and three siblings who preceded her, including a husband who died in June 1963 and two who died in infancy.

Funeral Rites for William J. Peters Held at Readlyn
Readlyn held funeral rites for William J. Peters 78 a former Tripoli area farmer who moved to Readlyn in 1949. He died Friday at Allen Hospital Waterloo and served as Readlyn marshal and president of the Readlyn Sportsman's Club. He is survived by his wife Bertha seven sons two daughters thirty three grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Burial was at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church cemetery. Cleveland Funeral Home Readlyn directed arrangements.
