Funeral Rites for Louis Segebarth Held in Waterloo
Funeral services were conducted at Walnut Street Baptist Church Waterloo for Louis A. Segebarth 72 of 3300 Logan Ave. Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery Rev David L Moore officiated. He died at Allen Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Segebarth born May 22 1896 in Bremer County married Laura Biermann July 18 1916. He varied careers including farming Tripoli and later managed Waterloo Brick and Concrete Co until retirement. Survivors include widow six sons two daughters 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. he was preceded by five brothers three sisters one son and a grandchild.
