Denver Public Schools Set to Open With 282 Students
Denver public schools will start Monday morning with 282 pupils enrolled including 170 in grades and 112 in high school. Advanced registration is set for August 25 and 26 from 1 to 4 pm. Classes begin at 9 am for a half day. Superintendent Gray lists new teachers for fall and notes required physical examinations for kindergarteners fifth graders and freshmen before school starts. A faculty meeting is scheduled for Saturday and there is no school on Labor Day.

A county wide meeting to discuss an education plan will be held Friday night in Waverly in the court house assembly room. Richard W. Mathews and R. C. Gaard announced as temporary co chairmen.
