George Hirleman Dies Suddenly at 86 in City
George Hirleman aged 86 died suddenly at his home last Friday morning. Born August 12, 1847 in Postville, Pa, he married Ellen Schneider January 10, 1878. The couple farmed between Waverly and Plainfield for 26 years before moving to Waverly, where they lived the past 30 years. Surviving are his widow, a daughter Miss Cora of this city, sons John of Battle Creek Michigan and Carl of Greenville Michigan, and a brother Ed Hirleman of Boise Idaho.
