Ernest H Piegers a Fremont township farmer died at his home Wednesday evening August 10 at 11 50 oper age 63 years 3 months 21 days He was born April 20 1869 in DuPage County Illinois and moved to Iowa at age eight He married Frances Johnston August 27 1901 and leaves wife Frances and children Clara Irene and Glenn plus siblings Henry Fred Louis Ed sisters Mrs John Schmidt and Mrs Albert Franklin Funeral services were held Saturday at 130 at the home and 215 at the Congregational church Tripoli with Rev E F Byers officiating Interment Fremont Cemetery.

Moehling Family Reunites for Annual Gathering in Denver
The second Moehling relatives reunion drew about 125 attendees at Denver City Park on Sunday August 14 with families from Fayette Fredericksburg Sumner Readlyn Tripoli Waverly Waterloo and Denver area. Carl Clausing of California joined as a guest. A noon picnic, an afternoon program of songs and recitations, and social time followed. Officers were reelected for 1933: President William Moehling Fredericksburg Vice President William Moehling Denver Secretary-Treasurer Mrs Theodore Steege Fredericksburg. The group planned to meet again at Denver Park on the second Sunday in August 1933. Car rolls over injuring John Dreier near Sumner
John Dreier of near Sumner suffered cuts above the left eye and facial bruises after his car overturned on the road east of the Wapsie bridge Saturday night.
