Malinda Wolfgram 66 died at Allen Memorial hospital Waterloo following surgery. Funeral rites were today at Rettig Funeral Home and St. Matthew's Readlyn with Rev. Erich Dornbusch officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Survivors include daughters Elda Barbknecht and Edna, sons Orville and Glenn, a grandchild Linda, and sisters Clara and Lizzie Rathe. Reveal Tax Payment Of Peoples Natural Gas to This County
Northern Natural Gas Company and its Peoples Natural Gas Division will pay 12,679 in property taxes to Bremer county this year. Dale Trent, Peoples manager, at Tripoli, says the first payment of 6,340 includes 1962 taxes due on retail distribution systems at Sumner and Tripoli. Bremer county’s share is part of 2,731,130 to be paid by the company this year in 64 Iowa counties. About 5,300 miles of Northern Natural’s 17,200-mile pipeline system are in Iowa, serving nearly 300 communities including 75 by Peoples.
