Iowa State Highway Commission held a bid review in Ames Tuesday for hard surfacing Buck Creek road from Iowa 3 north to Highway 93. Funeral services held for Lena Hackbarth at Faith Church
Funeral rites were Friday at Faith United Church of Christ for Lena G. Hackbarth 75 who died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday. Rev. E F Puhlmann officiated with interment in the church cemetery. Survivors include daughter Vyola grandson Ronald and brother Bernard Dammerman of Waterloo. Her husband Ferdinand C. Hackbarth died January 18 1963.
