Werner, a 20 year old junior from LaPorte Indiana, will serve as Editor of the 1970 Modulus with Linda Kling, an 18 year old freshman from Quincy Michigan, as Associate Editor. They replace Pete Francies and Don Locke as the 1969 Modulus concludes this month.

Tri-State professor joins NASA lunar Lumar System study
Dr. George F. Hauck chairs Tri-State College Civil Engineering and leads 19 educators in a June 9 start in Houston for 11 weeks to help design an intermediate sized Lumar System. Work guided by NASA Manned Spacecraft Center aims to enable low cost flexible moon missions including surface vehicles and shelters. The project targets mid 1973 readiness and mid 1970s lunar science support.

Oil painter Alice Gerard exhibition at Tri-State College
The 11th annual Tri-State Community Fine Arts show features 40 oil paintings by Alice Gerard of Warsaw opening Friday May 16 in John G Best Hall Science. A meet the artist reception runs 2 to 5 p m Sunday May 18 with Tri-State College Women's Club members hosting. The exhibit runs through May 25 with weekday hours 8 a m to 4 p m and weekend hours 2 to 5 p m. Gerard, noted for still life landscapes and river scenes, has shown often in Indiana and Florida and studied at Fort Wayne Art School and Miami Art School. More than 700 students and families toured Tri-State College Day, meeting faculty and staff during tours and open houses.
