Fraternities on Tri State celebrate Greek Week with competitions and events from torch lighting to an Awards Banquet. Tau Kappa Epsilon leads with four firsts and one second, earning the Public Relations Plaque and a strong overall showing. Sigma Phi Epsilon places second in points as Acacia and others contribute strong performances in bed races greased pig contests and relay events.

Professors Attend AICE Workshop in Midland Michigan
Dr H T Chen of Tri State College joined 23 other chemical engineering professors from 24 colleges at the 1969 Professors Workshop in Midland Michigan May 2 and 3. The event, run by the Midland Section of AIChE and sponsored by Dow Chemical and Dow Corning, covered polymer and monomer engineering with sessions on styrene dehydrogenation reactor design and polymerization, plus plant tours.

Happenings Concert S planned at Angola High School gym
The Happenings with Larry Kenny as master of ceremonies will perform at Angola High School gym on May 25, sponsored by the Student Senate on May 24. The group from Paterson New Jersey formed Mira-Lee label and wrote hits like See You in September. They have appeared on Tonight Smothers Brothers Merv Griffin Mike Douglas and toured the East Coast and South America.

Bldg Construction Behind Schedule At College Campus
The south western campus PE building, contracted to Miller Davis Construction of Kalmazoo Michigan, is slightly behind schedule for a fall 1970 completion due to rain and high winds. Site work remains ahead. shower room footings are being poured and not affected by weather.
