May 24 marks candidacy deadline for President and Secretary in Tri State Student Council elections. Petitions require 7.5 percent and 5 percent of the student body respectively and must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. May 24 1965. Primary and general elections to be scheduled at a May 24 council meeting in the cafeteria.

Investment Club Grows to Fifteen Members at Tri State College
In October 1964 Tri-State College received a grant from the Herman Crown Foundation to establish an Investment Club. The group aims to buy stock, analyze market probabilities, and gain hands on finance experience. It began with seven members and expanded to fifteen, with bi weekly meetings.

Alumni Honored at Tri State College Commencement
Dr. B R Teare of Carnegie Tech will deliver the address at Tri State College eighty first annual commencement on Saturday June 5. He will receive Doctor of Science. Three engineers including Tri State alumni will receive honorary doctorates in engineering. Michael J Baker Jr John H Gregory and Ralph E Neidig will be honored. Over 220 seniors will graduate. Outdoor ceremonies are planned on campus with a backup gymnasium site. Class Day Friday June 4 includes awards and honor student recognitions. Senior Prom Friday June 4 at Moose Home Angola with Dick Haynes Band.

Elkart Woman Dead in Headon Crash Near U S 20
Mrs. Margaret C. Dinman aged 39 of Elkhart died instantly in a head on collision on U S 20 shortly after 1 p m Friday. Her husband Samuel Dinman 44 and Tri State College exchange student Mahest K Goswami 24 of Angola Indiana were listed in serious condition at Elkhart General Hospital. Goswami was en route to Chicago to visit friends and reportedly failed to see the oncoming car.

Investment club reviews securities with industry peers
Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. the new business focused on reviewing securities with Standard and Poor dope sheets. The group compared yield per share price earnings ratio and market prices to judge investments. Officers for the 1964-1965 school year were James Pettit chair Bruce Watkins vice chair John O'Brien secretary and James Mason treasurer. Advisors were Joseph R. Donohue and Gordon D.
