Sigma Phi Epsilon colony formed at Tri-State campus
Alpha Gamma Upsilon joined Sigma Phi Epsilon as a colony at Tri-State on April 8 1967 marking a major expansion. The Sigma Phi Epsilon installation featured a banquet at Potawatomi Inn with district and national representatives, honoring Theta couple guests and Lambda Househeads as the new letters were unveiled.

Scholarships Announced For Crown And Dresser Funds
The Sol R. Crown Scholarship and two Dresser Scholarships for 1967 68 total 1500 in awards. Crown recipients must be U S citizens Juniors or Seniors by Fall 1967 with a 3.0 GPA and demonstrated need. Dresser winners are Engineering students with 3.0 cumulative GPA and need. Applications through the Dean of Students due May 1 1967. Educational Opportunity Grants will be issued soon for students with exceptional need.

Tri-State College marked the first Civil Engineering Day on April 5 in the 600 Building led by Jerry Cuccinello ARBA chair. George Rowley won the Excellence in Teaching Award chosen by civil engineering students. Minard Rose and retiring faculty received honors.

Tri-State College students will join Kappa Sigma members in a March fundraiser in Angola on April 15. Tape will line sidewalks around Monument Circle and downtown shops with dimes pasted by customers and passersby to benefit Steuben County Fund activities. Mayor John McBride praised the project and the students as good citizens.
