The university outlines preregistration during May 15 for Summer and Fall quarters. Forms will be color coded and similar to Spring. Schedule of Classes for Fall arrives April 28 with course request forms. Advisor signatures required. forms processed daily. Emphasis on accurate course requests to avoid delays and misregistrations.
Kappa Sigma fraternity completed its Block of Dimes drive by presenting 283 to the Steuben County United Fund. The event on Monument Circle featured a tape along Maumee Street and the Angola State Bank corner with Mayor John McBride placing a donation. By day’s end the tape extended beyond White’s Drug Store as members staffed four corners.
Tri-State College hosts a get acquainted day on Saturday April 29 drawing over 700 prospective students and parents. Dr J Glenn Radcliffe registrar leads planning with J B Swihart and faculty support as tours and coffee hour begin at nine. Dr Richard M Bateman delivers convocation at eleven at First Church of Christ with luncheon in Stewart Hall.
Passersby showed interest in the project as Steve Thomas of Bellevue Ohio led plans as general chairman. Mike Darch of South Bend praised Angola’s people for backing the fundraiser and the contributing funds to the United Fund through the Kappa Sigma group.
The James Dutton Percussion Ensemble closed Tri-State College convocations for the year with a Friday performance in the high school auditorium. The program featured fifty percussion instruments and included Take Five Ebb Tide West Side Story medleys My Fair Lady One Note Samba Yesterday Tequila and more.
The schedule updates change M E 175 Mechanisms to M E 305 D and D 103. Time for that session moves to 9 00 room 1022 EnGra 113. Additional change sets ME 305 with times 10 and 11.
