Caledonia's Singers and Dancers of Scotland drew praise for their Tri-State College Concert showing at TSC. James Dolan sang The March of the Cameron Men, despite flu, and the troupe’s kilts and tartans, strong choreography by Jim Hastie, and varied Scottish songs offered a high quality entertainment, though Dolan could not fully perform.

Unofficial Tabulation Sets Spring Enrollment At 1550
Tri State College reports unofficial spring quarter enrollment at 1550, higher than last year and in line with future projections. The figure includes 60 plus new students, transfers from other colleges, and many returnees after absences. Students come from nearly all states and many countries, with new arrivals from California to Thailand. Registrar Dr. J Glenn Radcliffe leads ongoing official tabulation as spring classes began March 24 after a March 22 23 registration.

Marketing Team Is Second In National Meets
Tri State College marketing team placed second in the National Intercollegiate Marketing competition. Led by John Lauer with Robert Palmer Gary Slock Ron Cave and Mike O’Brien and advised by Prof Harold Hoolihan they will attend a two day meet at Michigan State University April 9 and 10. Finalists include Western Michigan University Kalamazoo Lawrence Institute Detroit Harding College Searcy Arkansas and University of South Carolina Columbus. Judges will select the winner from the four finalists based on competition records and related business costs.

Polio Vaccine Drive Offers Oral Dose Across Steuben County
Steuben County Indiana residents will receive the three in one oral polio vaccine at feeding stations on Sunday April 4 from 1 to 4 PM. Locations include Carlin Park Hendry Park Angola and Hamilton School. A 50 cent charge helps cover costs, but no one will be denied. Tri State College students and residents may participate. parental consent forms are available in the TSC cafeteria.

Student Gift Kits Distributed On Campus
Tri State College students will receive free grooming kits from Student Gift Pax as part of a national sampling program. Kits, containing items from major manufacturers, will be handed out in the cafeteria Friday April 9 from 9 to 3 by Student Council members.

Thespians To Present Comedy Sal a musical cowboy show
The Angola Thespian Society will stage Sal, a musical cowboy comedy by the writers of No No a Million Times No, in the high school auditorium on Friday and Saturday nights April 2 and 4. The sponsor, Mrs. Anne Chokey, says it is a simple funny musical with an unusually large cast and crowd-pleasing songs and dances.

Aero Lecturer To Address Faculty Seminar April 5
Dr Archibald S Thom of the University of Glasgow will speak at Tri-State College on Monday April 5. He will address the Faculty Seminar at 4 o clock in Perry Ford Memorial Library on the campus and later speak to the Civil Engineering Society combined meeting at 8 o clock. Thom is senior lecturer in fluid mechanics in the Department of Aeronautics and Fluid Mechanics.
